You know that feeling you get on your birthday or on a first date or right before you ride a rollercoaster? It's that butterflies in the stomach, jumping up and down hyper I want to do something sensation you get. Well every time I decide to go on a youth mission trip or I heard someone give a testimony about a mission trip I get that feeling. Like I want to get up and go right now to do great things for God through missions. I can't shake how it makes me feel and so I choose to go by this verse then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8. The first time I read that I was like, "Ok God that's nice and all but I'm not made for this, I'm not what a missionary looks like." He corrected my thinking, thank God right lol! So I finally told my parents this is what I am meant to do and I'll know when it's my time. Well one day I was hanging out with a friend who had gone with a group called Adventures In Mission and I was like cool and didn't think a second thought about it until a few minutes later a song comes on the radio by Lecrae. I knew then that I needed to go out and do something... it was time. So here I am ready to go serve the Lord! I can't wait to share his love it makes me smile to think of the great power he has and how he will work in and through me while I'm away from the states, but whatever he has me do or where he has me go I want to be a messenger for him!
